Well I got my spyder pilot ACS for christmas and already ordered a clamping feedneck so it won't be so tall. Haven't yet fired any paint or even hooked up air yet but so far I like it, it looks nice, not very heavy and it has full auto I am planning on buying the dye sticky grips in blue to match, we'll see how it shoots before I decide on a barrel. I hear the stock one isn't that great but it looks cool and matches the paint scheme lol. Well just thought I would put this up. Oh one more thing. My friend has an old spyder compact which has side cocking, can he use a top cocking ACS bolt and just turn it?? or do they specifically make side cocking ACS bolts? and the e-frame would work on his right??

Cant just use a top cocking and turn it. The ACS bolt has a pin that aligns with the hammer. Take a look at the following chart off the spyder site and compare what you have to what you need. Kingman Group: ACS Bolt The E frame will work. |

On mine the stock barrel was pretty darn good. My 14 inch CP MIGHT have shot a tiny bit tighter a group but I'd have to get out a ruler to check it. Yes it was that close. But this assumes that you feed your new Pilot decent and fresh paint. Cheap or old stock paint will shoot like boomerangs from any barrel regardless of how good it is.

I tend to shoot the sterling rec paint. I do need to get myself a agitating hopper though.
