| nelson fanboy | Mactruc, I have a black bodied e-spyder that has a fatty striker, fs in the bst thread in mech section ("couple spyders for sale") maybe that's what you're looking for? The body isn't a Bob Long but its similar, the seller of it told me its a JT Specter(Spectre?) and weren't many made but its just as good, I have a BooYaah frame that needs some new connections and is so-so for use but im not exactly willing to sell it lol. |

BooYaah's are surprisingly good frames with a nice board and display for how old they are, although they are a little on the heavy side. I'm thinking about trying to rig up an eye circuit on mine somehow, but I'm just not sure enough about the resistors needed and am worried about frying the board if I do it wrong. Not to mention space is definitely at a premium inside that frame! | |

| In your re-entry process, if you find you need a part for the Spyders, give me a yell, and I'll try to hook you up.

| Exactly my thoughts! On the T-board, I thought about that as well, but I don't know if the displays would fit right, and I think they are a one-button board vs the two on the eLCD. You could always try convincing them to get a custom form-factor board by plying Damon with lots of cash! As far as I can tell though the only real advantage would be the option for eyes. The BooYaah board is pretty darn customizable considering when it came out. |

| Mactruc, since it sounds like you're on a serious budget I'd suggest just do the inexpensive elbow grease mods to your pair of old Spyders and go play. In the woodsball arena there's still very much a place for old mechanicals. And if you get into a fix where you needed a higher fire rate to get out of it then you shouldn't have gotten yourself into that spot in the first place... You'll likely need to spend some cash on new hammer Orings. Those are the ones that are like gummybears in consistency and when they get old and harder they just don't let the gun blowback and recock as easily. If they are still good count yourself lucky.
