| I converted to low pressure on my spyder about 4 years ago... everything said thus far has been very correct =] the only thing I have to add is that I drilled out my vertical asa for better airflow... instead of a weaker valve spring I adopted a stiffer main spring. been running at 245psi steady, but the marker is about 10 psi off from single-shot status. stock valve pin and rocket man valve. also imo those stabilizers are the best thing you can put on a LP spyder conversion. looks like you on a great start! |

| Active Member | wow, nice find. I wiah I had enough for a Palmers, that would be amazing... Local field has one or two, I just don't have enough to get one, it's so frustrating >.< I'm trying a different kind of configuation on my valve pin, and I think it might be able to let air flow without grinding down the pin so much. Not sure if it would be any better in structural integrity, but it's worht a try. I'm thinking of hollowing it out, like my "Ultra-Lite Hammer" so air can flow into little passage ways. Any thoughs on it, or do you think the super ground down valve pin would be better?
