Havoc grapeshot adaptors.

UPDATE 10/4
Ok If Ken makes a run of these the price will be about $60 each. They would be run off on manual equippment so there is quite a bit of machine time especially turning down the OD. we would porbably need about 20 or so interested parties. I will upload a video of these shooting in a few days.

UPDATE 11/23
Sorry paintball season kinda drops off around here this time of year so progress slowed down. As of right now i think prototype number 4 is being made. The biggest issue we are having is with the balls spreading out to fast. I think we are going to end up making them longer, which is going to throw that orignal price estimate out the window. But we want them to be as reliable as possible.

here are the first two prototypes

I have one of the grapeshot adapters that noxx made and it leaves much to be desired. I gave ken a couple of requirements you have to be able to load it from the back while it was in the launcher, and I wanted it to be easily removable. So now I have the option of putting it in the launcher and reloading it there or swapping them out like shot guns shells.

If these work out well there is a chance of ken making a small run of these. So if you might be interested just post in here and please don't bombard ken with pm's for them yet. We are going to try these ones out and make sure we are happy with the way they work.

Those look great, definitely better than the ones I've seen from the other guy.

They were even better looking in person! Ken is indeed the man!

If those make it out into the world, I suspect we'll see more of these:

Weekendballer it was great to see you out there, coming to TWC?

planning on making some more but we noticed that metadyne changed the break breech. I have been trying to get ahold of them to see when the change was made. on the older style ones have a small step so the ball holder fits in. the newer one has no step, the id is the same all the way down the barrel. so there is nothing to hold it without modifing the breech.

Rob missed you at pump and pistol day this weekend. But i will be at TWC playing for tippmann of course.

What kind of spread do you get at distances? Hit the patterning board and let us know.

Right now to much spread, at 5 feet out we are already at 5 or 6 feet of spread. We are making some changes to remedy that. On a good note we were getting 12 unbroken balls leaving the barrel after the last set of updates.
