Lol! I actually read that book many years ago and enjoyed it, it seemed to me less about hippie ideals and more about how a society deals with a totally different point of view.

Thanks to everyone who has kept this theead going, I am definitely diving into a few of these once I finish the 2001 series, btw, 2061 is kind of lame for those who don't know already, hopefully the next book is better.

Matthew Riley is an amazing fiction writer from Australia. I've read temple and the scarecrow series and he is by far my favorite author ever.

Dont expect action or excitement in 3001. You get hippies... On dragons.... Instead.
