I thought the movie was quite well done, but I am shocked how different it is from the book. The ending hit me hard.

I don't think it was extremely well written, but I thoroughly enjoyed it.

Check out Slow Burn. It was originally written out on AR15.com, and recently went to print. You can read the whole book on the forum. The second book is in the works.

On a side note, AR15.com has a pretty good zombie category with a bunch of stickies highlighting books, movies, and the like.

Finally finished Mira Grant's Newsflesh trilogy with the last book, Blackout. Good series, I really enjoyed it.

If your a fan of the video game series, Resident Evil has a few books written by SD Perry and they pretty much hit the nail on the head of the Resident Evil franchise, unlike the movies, the book series stays true to the game franchise
