The Blinding knife, sequel to The Black prism. Both are by Brent weeks. I'm reading it on my kobo e-reader so I have no idea how many pages but I'm on chapter 78, kobo says I'm 54% through and each chapter is about 20-25 pages. Big book for a 14 year old...

Reading Dresden Files book 12 Changes in conjunction with his book of short stories, Side Jobs. I should finish Changes up pretty quick as I'm just getting up the halfway point and there is no slowing down with this book. then I'll hit the short story that takes place just after Changes.

After the Dresden reread it will be Forge of Darkness by Steven Erickson, and then maybe Tad William's new book.

Finishing up the Way of Shadows. It's been a pretty good read, really picking up past the second half.
Picked up the Quantum Thief at the same time...and I still need to start the second book of the Mistborn trilogy.

So I started reading the Quantum Thief the other night after finishing Way of Shadows (was good, will be picking up the rest of the trilogy). And I realize I've read way too little Sci-Fi in the past few years. It's a good start, but it just seems so different than fantasy I need to stop and think for a second. I need to go back through this list and find some other good sci-fi (aside from the classics). I looked at the wall in Chapters last time I was there and just had no clue what to look for anymore.

Picked up Neil Gaiman's American Gods and Shadow's Edge, the sequel to Way of the Shadow from Brent Weeks that I finished last week or so. Looking forward to digging into them after I finish the Quantum Thief, which is going pretty good.

I recommend American Gods as well. One of Gaiman's better pieces.

The follow up it is Anansi Boys. It's not a sequel, but a story along similar lines as American Gods. Anansi Boys seemed a bit more humorous.

I love Gaimans style. Another author you might like is A. Lee Martinez. His work is more on the lighter side of sci-fi humor. Quirky and very good. I thoroughly enjoyed Monster and Divine Misfortune
