I started reading The Dirty Streets of Heaven by Tad Williams. Having a lot of fun. Reminds me of the Dresden Files, but with an Angel as a main character.

The Foxfire series of books, interesting stories and a lot of valuable information on how things can be done and made, not bought.

Re-reading The Picture Of Dorian Gray cause it seems to pluck the very fibers of my being. Also reading How the Soldier Repairs the Gramophone, a pretty amazing recollection of the Bosnian conflict.

I'm about half done with The Signal and the Noise by Nate Silver. Also through The Once and Future King, Atlas Shrugged, The Uses of the Past (2nd time), and The Electric Kool-Aid Acid Test to various degrees. On deck are The Jungle and The Soprano State.

I'm one of those people that reads a bunch of things at once...

Finished The Dirty Streets of Heaven. I look forward to the next book.

Started Cold Days by Jim Butcher. Up to chapter 7 and it is awesome!

Well, I got into the Dark Tower series because of my girlfriend (we'll see if I thank her in the future or not :P)...I finished the Gunslinger and thought "OK, I'll head to the local library and see if they have the rest there so I don't have to wait to borrow from my gf". (I live 3hrs away)

They have books 3, 4, 7 and 9 I think. Their database search wasn't working so I couldn't look. The other fun thing? And how you know you live in a small town? The books are categorized as Adult Fiction and Adult Non-Fiction. Oh dear is all I could say to that. I haven't been in that library in years, now I guess I know why. They don't have a great selection that caters to my taste.

I was able to pick up Shadowmarch by Tad Williams, Morgoths Ring by Tolkiern (last of the history of Middle Earth books?) and a collection of Oscar Wilde stories. Once i take these back, I'm not sure if there will be a need to ever go back into that library again :P

Just finished the 5th book in The Iron Druid Series "Trapped" Some interesting development. Spoiler alert There are now two druids in the world.

I am now starting the Wheel of time series over again. It's been too long and I haven't read the last two. With the new one coming out in a month I'll be busy.
