And from what Sanderson is saying, it's almost completely untouched from what Jordan left behind. Makes me happy that it's finally done, but jealous of Sanderson since he got to read the ending all the way back in 2007.

The quality of book I read has plumeted since I got my kindle since I always end up reading the free classics (some of which I've enjoyed but others not so much) or free books by new authors 95% of which can't write very well, one tale of hunting a terrorist ended with the terrorist being shot in the face by the president of the US while tied to a chair - this was billed as a happy ending by the author who I now suspect was 12 and had a mental deficiency.

If I was going to recomend a book to someone today the ones that would jump to my mind "Kite Runner" (Khaled Hosseini), "Life of Pi" (Yann Martel) or "Something Happened" (Joseph Heller).

Just finished Brandon Sanderson's Mistborn trilogy late last night. Very interesting way to wrap up the story. He really had me anxious to see how he would end it all.

I guess I should start the next Dark Tower book (second one), and still going to start the Wheel of Time series.

PS Dun, avatar is great.

Since picking up a Kindle about a year ago, I find that I'll have one physical book that I'm reading (still in book 3 of The Wheel of Time series), and also be reading an e-book at the same time. Currently, I'm in book 8 of David Weber's Honorverse series, Echoes of Honor. For "bubblegum" sci-fi, it's a really great series with a lot of well thought out and researched science behind it. Great read, and I like Weber's War God fantasy series, as well as the Starfire series he did with Steve White. Go check them out if you're looking for something entertaining and quick.

A feast for crows by George RR Martin which is the 4th book of A Song of Ice and Fire which is now the TV show Game of Thrones. With that said I think next I'll read through The Walking Dead graphics novels and possibly pick up my physical copy of World War Z

I kind of feel bad for Sanderson. He was a fan of the series as well and had to wait 6ish years to talk to someone about the ending of the book. That would take a bit of willpower I think.
