That seems to be the consensus. I'm not real surprised; "Ready Player One" wasn't especially well-written or developed but was a lot of fun to read because the concept was so fun. Remove that and, well...

Latest reads

Recently finished a book entitled "NUTS" by a member
of the 101st Airborne Division during WW II, by the
name of Vincent J. Speranza. Currently involved with
"Meeting Steve Canyon and Flying with the CIA in Laos,"
by Karl L. Polifka. Very interesting, as well as insightful
story about some guys the Air Force later disowned
because they tended to go native. If you don't know
what that means I suggest grabbing a copy.

I recently read 13 Hours: The Secret Soldiers of Benghazi. The book was good. I saw the movie afterwards & it actually follows the book really well, minus some of the political stuff behind the scenes.

Excellent books!

I'm on "The Magician" series now; I listen to a ton of audiobooks because I travel a lot for work. This is a good series, just started the 3rd and last one.

Just had a friend who's a fantasy fan tell me he's never read the Discworld series... so now of course I have to re-read them. Such a chore...
