Here it is! We had 7 entries from 5 of our members (thank you very much for writing folks!), read through the stories, and then vote. Constructive criticisms, please. If you don't like a piece, that's fine, but please try to let the author know why or what they could have done differently. Just saying "it sucks" isn't helpful in the least.

Sorry, I put it at 5K because I know I get wordy and can't stop typing. Next time, we'll do 1K, see what everyone can do with that one.
