| Seasoned Member | lmao! im riding out with a teammate 2 days before rest of the team heads out. He suggested that we stay at that one (bc im paying first 2 nights of hotel and the gas to get out there) and I laughed and said for 42 dollars a night, Id rather sleep in the car and not risk being shot, picked up in a sting operation or deal with crack whores. |

Many of metal supports for the second story walkway were rusted through and had yellow tape around them; 5 or 6 beds next to the dumpsters. Door to our room was slanted and you had to lift it to walk in. Shower was reverse for hot and cold. Room was clean though, and it was cheap. It is right next the Holiday Inn. I am not planning on going to it again unless my brother talks me in to it. Couple guys stayed at Hollywood Casino: they had ants in there room; When they complained about it to the front desk, the response was rude and it was asked if they spilled something or left a sandwich in the trash as if it was there fault. They paid $90 or so bucks a night and were not impress. One of my buddy's is trying to talk me into a Hyatt but it is 40 minutes away from the field. I am really looking for a place with a pool and a hottub. |

Last year, the NPPL put us refs up in a Motel 6 at exit 257 on I-55 in Joliet. It was quiet, clean and right next to a mall so there was a ton of stuff to eat, get to for supplies, etc. It was about a 25 minute drive, but didn't seem far at all.
