My first time at Living Legends, and it was an absolute BLAST!!! Definitely looking forward to meeting more people in the paintball community.

Our first Legends as well and just an epic time. Nothing like standing in a building in Bedlam during the final battle, and listening to the paint his the walls like hail. Truly incredible. Great job to Viper and everyone that worked their butts off to put this together. Salute!! ![]() |

Trust me, it is worth it even if a MCB team isn't formed.

I have to say that MCBers multihandedly(is that a word even?) saved what otherwise would've been a disaster of a trip. All I wanted to do was go play a game against my friend Angel, the rest was going to just be gravy. Not to win or lose, but to play and have fun. I live an hour from HS and have a scenario or big game right there every month from may to september. Having 3 of the first 8 shots i fired break in the gun was NOT what I drove 6 hours for. RPS's fault and not CPX's fault but there it is. However getting to visit with so many of you and put faces to names WAS in the end worth the trip and I'll be at that meetup next year! Rob

Quick Recap: People were great, the refs were amazing (they busted their butts in that oppressive heat for us and did a great job), the fields were good, the chrono line moved very fast, I never had to wait long to fill my tank, and the paint was awesome (I used the Ultra Evil). Ultra Evil = No Breaks in barrel. Worked flawlessly all day Saturday. I loved being a Ripper. More fun than one could imagine. The Blue side used us properly. They struck a deal with us and formed an alliance that lasted until 4:00 PM. (Two hours total). We helped. I gave folks fair warning about it ending at 4:00 over and over. Well, very few listened, and when 4:00 came, and the Rippers turned to kill who they wanted. That third team really kept the game in check and made sure no one side had a strict advantage. I'd like to think we were doing our jobs properly when neither red or blue liked us. ![]() ONE MAJOR COMPLAINT!!!!!!! So while the game is in full effect, the HK Army guys decided to use one of the towns to film some video shots. They STOPPED us from entering into the area so they could do their video. While it didn't last too long, I paid to be there. It's in bounds and where I should be playing, and in the end stopped me from completing a mission I was on. I don't know who allowed that to happen or ok'd that, but that was not cool. .... Now, back to the good stuff Field layout: Was very good. The "bottle neck" with the pavilions of last year was fixed. Thank you guys. The game moved back and forth very smoothly. I'd love to see a similar set up on both field layout and team dynamics again next year. EDIT: Oh, and there are a TON more MCBers there than I ever imagined. Very good to see that many folks make it.

OH, and vendors... Great to see everyone. Dye, Empire, Tippmann.... Tippmann guys were great. Nice chatting with you. Got to play with the Crossover, and a few of the guys on the "Rippers" third party team had some also. Great little gun. Empire and Dye, they had their tech areas (I can only speak for those two because they were both used by either myself or one of the guys we flew out with), were great, quick to fix items. I know Tippmann had one also, but we didn't need it. There are always needed and used, and players need to constantly thank these companies for the continued support they show us. One word of advice for the companies... T-Shirts. I didn't see any t-shirts jumping out at me that I had to have. That's part 1. Part 2 of that is, why are they costing me so much at an event. Now I know $20 isn't a TON of money, and I would pay more at a concert event or something.... But I'm basically a walking billboard for your product. You would think you would want to get your logo out everywhere and sell those shirts cheap. Anyhow, just a thought...
