Living Legends 5 - Recaps Here

Post up in game stories in this thread.

Finished up today, awesome playing. Had more fun than should be allowed. But I'll let other folks tell their stories first.

The games today were off the chain. I will definitely be going back to this event next year. Having a bunch of MCBers come up to me and chat it up just cuz I'm rocking a Hawaiian tee has been pretty rad... Although I sure don't remember all of your screen names, you've all be pretty awesome to meet in person... Next year I'll remember to join the "right" team, HA!

Was standing at an inflatable right behind Bedlam when another guy walked up to the same bunker. Had some fun, shot some paint. It slowed down and got quiet, and another guy was walking up. We were just standing there in the open and a single ball hits the ground, bounces up and gogs the guy that just inserted.

Pretty funny, we were both laughing pretty hard.

Barrel tags... so many barrel tags.

I'm feeling like an old man this morning. Sore everywhere. Lots of welts. Too much fun. I shot more people than should be allowed.

My T2 worked flawlessly all day.

Chrono line went very fast as opposed to last year, and air station was great too. Not sure what they did different from last year, but whatever it was worked.

The third party prop team designed to mess with both sides really really worked. it easily evened up the sides when needed.

Very hot, but a great day of play.

I heard a LOT of complaining about the Rippers... To be honest I loved them. They kept the game feeling like no one had the upper hand all day long like other scenarios I have been to.

Maybe the complaining means that they were doing something right.

I loved being a Ripper. But yes, it kept people on their toes. There were some complaints from the folks that didn't understand, but the point of having the team worked.

Changing subject:

We messed up. We need to put together an MCB get together next year. It's starting to look like many many MANY of MCBers are actually at Living Legends, we are just very spread out. I bet if we had an on site get together or something like that, we'd be shocked at how many of us are there.

Next year, let's do that.

That sounds awesome.

I agree... A get together next year would be great.
This was my first living legends and I had a blast! It was nice to put names to faces.
I forgot most of them but there is always next year.

Thanks a bunch for showing me a great time!

Maybe Mcb can be the 3rd team next year.......
