Sorry about all the threads, just trying to get solid advice and appreciate all the help. Currently I have a RX Clone and was windering if I should upgrade to VX internals and or the Gold bolt? Will either make a noticeable difference? Again thanks for all the help! |

Personally, I would just stick with your current internals until you start having problems. If your valve keg cracks, or your bolt gets damaged, then upgrade. There really is no noticeable performance difference, however the new VX internals don't seem to have the o-ring shredding problem the stock internals have. But not all of the Clones experienced the issue with shredding o-rings.

the vx parts are more reliable and alow a small drop in opp pressure when coupled with the clone gold bolt. my vx (not even broken in) runs at 90 psi for 285 fps. i expect this to slightly lower when i put 20 cases through it. this will yield you a few more shots per tank. an again why wait untill your oring shreds or the keg cracks. if you play non competitive i wouldnt worry so much. but if you need a very reliable marker / cannot afford to loose efficiency due to middle valve oring shredding then its a very worthwhile upgrade! i am very happy with my clone VX |
