| Rec Poster Join Date: Feb 2008 | Droid stops shooting
I recently ran into a problem with my Droid. The issue it during a game it will stop firing. The symptoms are: sometimes nothing happens, other times a balls comes out of the barrel so slow it almost rolls out. Also, if I turn the eyes off the marker fires without a problem. This leads me to believe either the eyes or something is wrong with the main board? Any help would be appreciated. Wiz

I would try a fresh battery first. Sounds like the one you have in there is bad.

It is definitely not the battery, I tried a fresh one and it still has this problem. Thanks, Wiz

If it's not the battery, try resetting the board to factory settings. Also, I would check the bolt o-rings (bolt, keg, joiner, and sail) for damage. On rare occasions you could have a crack in the Bolt (usually under one of the O-rings on the bolt itself #69/70). The other thing that I would look at is the reg. Clean and relube it, flip the reg seat and see what that does.

Try the battery again, drones, droids and clones can be picky like that. Even with new batteries

when it stops shooting, push the on/off microswitch forward or in. Might be a bad switch! I had to replace mine at one time, and it's only 15 dollars on macdevs site (or solder in a switch off something else), it's only a switch but it has to be the same size.
