07 Cyborg Militia Board & BPS

Hello all,

I've got an 07 Cyborg Militia board and I'm wondering what's the easiest way to reprogram it to limit the ROF to 12.5 or less (ie. 10). What with the new tourney rules coming out (and constantly fluxing), I'd be over what with the 14bps minimum on a militia board.

I don't play in any tournies, but some scenarios base their rules off tourney rules. One I hope to attend has done so (ie. 12.5).

Any easy way to lower the bps or is it new board time? Thanks.

You may have to just google the manual for that board

Right, that I've done.

The manual for the Militia states:

Quote:
Max ROF (Green) – in uncapped modes, the ROF will only be limited by the speed of the gun and hopper. However, if you use a capped mode (like PSP or Millenium), the mode will obey this max ROF. The ROF is adjustable from 14bps to unlimited in 1/4bps increments (1=14, 2=14.25, 3=14.5, 4=14.75, 5=15 … 26=uncapped).
I'd like to know if there's an easy way to flash/upgrade the board to lower its ROF to 10 ideally, though I'd settle for 12.5.

Contact MacDev, then send the board in to get flashed. I think Tadao can also flash those boards, but I would start with MacDev.

I believe Tadao wrote the code so that's a decent backup option. I've contacted MacDev support about sending in the board, but have heard anything back in a couple days.

Is phoning them the best option? Reading around the cobwebs of the 'net it seems like their customer support is not the benchmark everybody else strives to be. Maybe I'll give them a call.
