7-7-08 spy photos of Mad Rifles

So I went over to Matt's to give him a hand at the shop, but he had already been working his butt off on the Rifles. He did pull everything out so I could see, and thankfully with him being so tired he was easily distracted ("Hey! What are Hooters waitresses doing in your driveway?!") so I was able to snag some pictures quickly.

Finishing up the 24 hour CO2 leak test

ChefDave's is the one in wood with the BOA barrel, IIRC.

Now, just for Chad, Matt went ahead and put yours in the stock just to see what it will look like. This STILL has no finish on it, Matt tried his normal finish and didn't like the results as it didn't draw out the colors as well as he hoped:

Not sure what he'll use, he's still debating on it when I last talked with him.

All of the stocks minus Chad's look to have the front flattened where the asa is. Is this true? If so, that is a great idea. I have learned that my 3.5 oz tanks won't fit on mine. They hit the wood and won't screw in all the way. Is this Matt's solution to that problem?

Yes, all have the flattened area at the ASA so tanks, etc. fit better. Or at least that's what I've seen so far.

The newer ones don't need the cutout as the asa's I am getting now are a good bit longer..

The guns that I put an older ASA onto will have the cutout...

MrBig..send yours in and I will take care of it..

Matt
