So one of the benefits of getting into mag fed after being in the Army is that you start out with a lot of good gear already. This is a rig I set up using some of my old Tactical Tailor and Tactical Assault Gear stuff as well as Whiskey Two Four mag pouches for the TiPX. The holster is attached using Blackhawk Serpa hardware and accessories, and the sling is a Magpul MS3. The entire setup is modular, so I can take only what I need for any game.

Basic pistol rig:

Rifle Loadout, along with heavier "assault" kit, which is for longer scenarios.

Alternate remote line setup using a radio pouch in the back to hold a 13ci tank:

TiPX with Zetamag SMG loadout:

And here's some of the other marker setups I'll run depending on the scenario:

Here's my setup.
Battle belt with 8 mags for a total of 10 mags, two in the marker. A pouch with 2 13ci tanks, pouch with an electric mag winder, pod pouch for extra balls and shortened stainless steel remote.

Waiting for my 8" barrel to arrive.

M17 CQC, Multicam WTF chest rig with 8 Fazmags, dump pouch (I doubt I'll use it with the Fazmags), fake knife, custom-made single point sling. Still lots of work needed on the M17, namely longer handguard and barrel, fake suppressor.

Couldn't find a P3 pack for a reasonable price plus I wanted a better belt anyway so I just ripped off the design and made it fit on an old Redz Dimension platform.

M17 with a bottomline adapter. I still can't seem to get away from the classic paintball gun layout. Leaves me with a tighter package and clear sight lines.

Still trying to figure out what optics, if any, to get. Any suggestions?

The rig is a Condor Ops Rig with 4 AK pouches, folding drop pouch and a misc. zippered pouch for a radio, phone, tools, etc. I like the look of the flapped pouches. They are wide-mouthed and protect my hard earned magazines. I can carry 8 standard 20 round mags and 2 FS 18 rounders in the built-in M4 mag pockets on the side. Weighs a fair amount, but mobility is good and I can strip it down quickly for a lighter loadout.

Since this seems to be the place to ask people with Mag rigs, has anybody used rigs similar to the ones I've attached? How well do they hold onto mags like the Spyder, DAM, etc? How well do they hold onto ones like the TiPX, Tiberius, etc?

I could see them being alright for the former, but not so great for the latter.

Thanks.

I have no experience with the top or bottom ones but the one in the middle will fit milsig mags no problem.

The only issue I had was the snaps that held it together infront kept popping open on me. Two carribeeners (sp?) and problem fixed.

Thanks for that. Yeah, it seems that the general consensus on that style is that the snaps are junk. The bottom one is, basically, the same unit only it uses the plastic strap belt clips (or whatever their name is).

If it fits the milsig mags, that probably means it's fine for the DAM, Spyder, etc. while likely too large for the Tib's/TiPX's. Thanks again.
