Back-bottle TiPX build...

As the title says, I'm planning to pick up a TiPX, then using some scrap metal I have around here, some spare air fittings, and a direct mount asa that I'm pretty sure is around here somewhere, put together a back-bottle carbine setup.

I'm basically trying to put together the most cost-effective zetamag-compatible pistol/carbine. It doesn't need to be pretty, so long as it works.

Anyway, that's the plan.
Before I start the project, does anyone have constructive suggestions on the subject, or maybe see an easier way to achieve a similar end product?

It probably won't be finished until sometime in May, when I'm out of college; but I'm trying to put together a rough plan so I'll be able to get everything done fairly quickly when I do have tome to work on it.

I got a nice up close look at something like this on Saturday. The guy pulled an amazing ninja move and surrendered me ... And then four others...

What it looked like he did was find an aluminum plate that he cut into a strip. He had longer bolts going through the clamshell at the rear and middle top and possibly the bolt behind the pistol grip?

To this plate he had attached a duckbill ASA and had a steal braid going from the ASA to the remote line connection.

Looked a little Frankenstein but it was effective!

I started to do a back bottle tipx but found that it was too unbalanced, so I decided to do an a5 stock out back and run with a remote. I was using a 9 oz steel tank, so it might be better with something lighter

I'm thinking of something similar to that.... I plan to put the tank a little farther down, so it's a little more out of my face; but the same general concept.

And painted in the most hideous tiger stripe color combo I can think of... because I can....

Hey, that's me! If you have any questions just send me a message. Pretty much I took a metal plate, screwed it to the side, drilled holes to attach an ASA and ran a hose to the remote adapter. I have it on the side to balance it out a little bit, having it directly behind was a lot of weight on the back on the marker.
