Making a smaller less bulky M17 Shroud

I really don't like the big bulky M17 shroud, and having looked for an alternative, decide to make one.
I used some 1" inner diameter pvc water pipe and a coupler to make this:

I've still got to add the short bottom front rail for the grip.

I like the concept, I am going to have to hack apart some rails and make one of these...
Do you find epoxy strong enough for bonding stuff used for paintball? or what do you use as an adhesive?

I used epoxy further top rail, but I won't be mounting anything to it.
But for the bottom rail, Imwill be using screws AND epoxy, as I will be attaching a foregrip to it.

Not bad. Very Clean mod. If you end up look for something else, i would recommend an AR15 lightweight handguards, Midwest Industries, Samson, etc.
