Major Updating... Need your help!

Ok.. the MCB Blue Book, has undergone a MAJOR update. Nicely done in HTML and Javascript for a fully sortable database.

I need everyone's help in UPDATING the prices. Right now any tom, dick, or mary can update it. And we'll leave it that way for a little bit to get the information in it. Then we'll close it down to members only, or stricter if needed.

So please help us out!

All information is going direct to... get ready for this... a SQL database!!! I've (on top of the blue book) completely converted over the VintageRex.com database to MySQL for faster searching and all around a better experience.

I haven't converted VR over yet, it's still running of the old flat file database, but I'll eventually convert it, and make it easier for us to keep it updated and adding new info. I know I've had people ask to help and upload info, etc... and I will accept that help.. trust me... but I needed to get this converted first.

Once done, and completed, we'll be adding new info to VintageRex.com, and VR will eventually be covering all guns, and not just old guns.

So jump in... make your BEST GUESS on what these guns are selling for on ebay, here, etc.

There is no science to this... just a good guess, and be good... I can still track you down

You missed several guns, (K2, Kp-3) is there a way for people to add them or do we have to let you know and you do so?

I really like the setup though, it's vary easy to use and update.

I'm not sure why some of the information was lost in the update... I'll whip up a way to add the info, or figure out how to add in the missed stuff here shortly!

I'm noticing some missed guns, and they were in the first database, but lost in the transfer.

Work with what we've got now... as it can't be lost now, but I'll get the rest over tonight. Or at least have a way to add it!!!

can we add new guns? or manafacturers?

Also, is there a way to add a "notes" section for addition value for options?
that would save on having to differentiate all the different sub-models that might greatly effect value.
(ie bead sites, splash annos, types of bolts, etc)
