I haven't been able to connect in weeks. Firefox hates it, and if I use Safari, it gives me:

If you don't have a "real" IRC client, mibbit is one of the easiest web based clients I've ever used.

Goto: Mibbit.com - Easy and fast Webchat
Click the "launch mibbit webchat" button

Stuff will happen and a little white box will appear

Click on the server link and type in "irc.stratics.com"
Type in whatever nickname you want
In the room field type in #mcb - don't forget the # sign
Hit the connect button

That's all there is to it.

I use xchat, no problems on any other servers... but with stratics im getting the following error:

Closing Link: 0.0.0.0 (You match the pattern of a known trojan, please check your system.)

course, I dont have a trojan. for some reason my IP is getting stripped, and its not cause of any firewall etc of mine. ah well. java chat it is.

You might try asking the stratics team for support because we have nothing to do with it.

I'm using Mibbit and I'm happy with it: I would suggest anyone having issues with xchat/mirc etc to use it. link is above.
