| I Am The Admin  Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: New Boston, NH  | Opinions on the New Front Page So how does that look? I'm not completely finished. Still tweaking, but for the most part, I'm done now. Broke up the middle in three important (to me) sections. The first being the latest in paintball headlines. Right now, I'm a little low on those, so I put a couple of site relavant items there for now. Then the second section, we basically have the latest news from our "In the News" section. Third, will be the latest in reviews. The reviews are manually chosen, so they will be relegated to MCB's new "Round Table Reviews" (Drum's Idea), and reviews that we/I feel have a lot of time and effort put into them, so they will be featured there. I have more to say.... but out of time. I'm off to the velodrome.

| Every Dog has its Day  Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: Northern MD  | I kinda dont like it. When I come to MCB, I would usually click the middle of my screen where it said "New Post" under the User CP. I liked it more in the middle than on the side. I never really look at the front page of MCB. When it was set up the old way, I could tell when a new article was posted because it would catch my eye as being different so I'd check it out. This is just grumpy me complaining when I have to change my routine. I think the new change does look better though and probably will be better to access information.

| Administrator  Join Date: May 2006 Location: Trenchtown | I reiterate the suggestion I made via PM... how about a small picture panel that would display pics from user galleries on a random rotation? The front page has too many words and not enough eye candy. D.

I personally liked it the way it was. New posts in the middle, and news below that can be shrunk and moved out of the way. |

| I Am The Admin Join Date: Mar 2006 Location: New Boston, NH | It's not that it wasn't broken.. it was just not being used. So I'm trying to actually make it useful. Yes, we are forums... But I want to make it so someone who might not want to check out every forum every day (who would ever not want to do that is beyond me..) but just in case... That person, can see the LATEST on the site. Latest big reviews we're doing or have done... Latest news in the industry... etc. Basically, get your "Daily Dose" which is what I'm going to call it. Most of us daily users will find it completely useless, and will be jaded of it because of that... It's the OTHER folks, I'm trying to cater towards. So any ideas forthcoming would be great now that you all know what I'm trying to achieve. CB
