MCBtv From the Attic - Episode 6 - Review: Mini

Ok, I'm feeling better, and to celebrate, I put together a new show to kick off the new season. I didn't have to good computer handy to transfer over the top notch quality.. Sorry about that, the rest of the season the flash video will be very clean. For now I'll make sure you can download the original.

Video can be found at the regular spots. This time I got to try out and review the Mini. I really want to thank 99GenX for letting me borrow the gun and try it out. Thank you.

Overall, I was extremely impressed, and you can tell in the video I was.

Video can be found in the usual spots, and I'm all geared up for many new ones.

The audio is done with a wireless mircophone. You can see it clipped to my pants, and if you look closely see it clipped to the collar of my shirt. The receiver is attached to one of my camera's. It has a 300 foot range, so the audio is real clear.

The second camera I attached a wide angle lens for a different view. I should have done some more close-ups and things of that nature, but I'm trying to keep the video's to 5 or 6 minutes.

Please do not review new guns that are still in production. It makes me want to buy things.

In looking at the clip I saw a link to a PPS gun I have been suprised to not hear anything about on these pages, the Grinder. I remember they were manufactured around the time of the first Gulf War and the referance to "carpet bombing for paintball". Were many of them made?

I also saw the link about The Weltman, looks like fun but NOBODY wants to see me play like that!

I swear, every time I go to this place I want a new gun! There should be a disclaimer popping up when you click on the forum warning you about the hazard to your wallet! :P

But where do you cock it at?

That's a pretty big risk, gassing her up straight out of the box for the camera! Climate changes, elevation, general oring tolerances through shipping, etc all play a role on a new markers performance. Glad she shot for you right out of box! I was pretty surprised to see that the consistency stayed true without needing minor adjustment as well; 270 +/-2 is pretty impressive, not to toot my own markers horn.

Nice review! Glad you liked her and I hope that your video positively influences others to consider the Mini as their primary marker.

Yeah.. actually I did do the chrono testing first, and simple shots before shooting a hopper out of it. I just skipped over that part. I'm doing the best to keep them informative, but still short enough to watch.

As for finding them? Right now the best place is ebay I think, or at the mini owners group in the market place...
