In an Ebay Minute and Other MCB News

I was always thinking of doing an "Ebay Minute" update on the video, and making it goofy, etc.

I don't have everything finalized, but I'm going to try and do it every Thursday as I can to just quickly go over some of the more excellent auctions.

With the David Loo DD out there, well, I had to quickly jump the gun and throw one together.

Not a great video, but it will give you an idea of being quick and to the point.

I'm not going to do much posting about these.... So find them on youtube or mcbtv, probably the best way would be to subscribe to the videos at: YouTube - Broadcast Yourself.

In other MCB News, this is actually the first month (June) that we will be in the Black on my books! For the first time, we are above and beyond our server costs. Actually, well above. I was never in this to make money, so I'm working out ways to redistribute the extra when I can.

So, I'm probably going to be looking to hire one or two people to help out in some areas that need attention. I'll definitely be looking for someone to really help me update VintageRex.

If anyone else can think of where and what sorry section needs attention and wouldn't mind being paid to do it, please let me know.

Maybe even reporting some of these paintball events coming up and taking pictures for MCB. That would be great too.

Details are still fuzzy on all this, but so far this is the plan. Slap me around if I'm doing it wrong.

Congrats on being in the book.. its good to see that you don't have to just put the money out of pocket.

Round of applause for all the subscribers and to all those who have purchased stuff from the MCB store (you did know there was a store, right?)

And a big thumbs-up to Carter for building this community into the group that it is today!

I'd upload stuff to Vintage Rex if you sent me a disc or something. I'm easily amused, but my HTML skills are pitiful right now since I need to brush up on them. (without cost to you guys or MCB for that matter since I just like to do stuff to keep busy before I go to sleep)

The idea of events and pictures is really sweet too! Congrads Carter!

Hm, I'd love to work on vintagerex. I often have plenty of free time popping up at my job. It would make me look busy! Let me know if you need writeups or formatting for some of those entries.

How are those ebay auction ads working out? I know I click on my fair share - they're very relevant.

The ads only work when someone actually buys it, so clicking just to click doesn't do anything.. which is cool. Since I like to click sometimes when I see something cool, and the google ads wouldn't let you click.

I dropped google like a bad habit. Thank goodness. I'm staying with the ones that pay out more for an "action".

I'll PM ya sometime later tonight when I get a chance.

I like those ebay ads too... I look at some of them... some hit my "watch list..." not positive if I've bought any of them though.

Speaking of which... any way to expunge those stupid airsoft guns from the ebay ads?

do normal ebay search functions work? to get rid of airsoft stuff I find I have to get rid of "airsoft" "softair" and "soft." I leave "air" be, since that comes up in many paintball searches as well.
