In my experience, earplugs are huge for reducing fatigue with any type of helmet. I always wear some on long rides.

Wind noise is also pretty dangerous for your hearing. Especially over the long term.

Enjoy the trip!

Agreed. I only wear full face helmets but it still gets to you after a long trip. When I took my bike up north when I finally got there I stil;l could hear the engine/wind and feel the handlebars vibrating for a while after getting off the bike.

Let me know when you get close to troy.... I could probably make it down to drive next to you if you didn't want to stop

plan your return route just as carefully, if it's Sunday afternoon night, be aware of more idiot tourist traffic and any night riding you are in store for. I dont know what you are rolling if it's all dressed with windshield (yuk) and such, but keep your weight down low, saddlebags heaviest with your duffle the lightest. Try to pack light and if you must, ship things down.

I wear full face too and have a Harley. Maybe becuase I have hearing damage from an indoor rifle team, but all I hear is the pipes talking and wind is nonexistant in my HJC. Weird how I keep hearing about vibrations but I am unphased by that, on supposedly the worst ones for it.

Also be careful AT emr, the road with the big shales glued in from the rains can make for some wild edge traps, so be careful tooling around the property.

I saw someone on rice racer of some construction last game I was there managing ok.

And remember that it is now race season at Saratoga Springs, which will screw up all the roads in and around Albany, from now until Labor day.

You can get a lot of stuff on a bike...... There's a KP and four other guns buried in there...

Ride safe Carter, and be careful on the ride home. You'll be a bit weary after a day of paintball...
