Ok.. blatantly ripped of the design, but anyhow...

I want YOUR opinion first before I move on and do anything. Me... I'm not a big fan of flashy moving advertisements. But clean looking ones, I've never minded. In fact, I've bough many a thing from a nice ad. You've got a product, I have a need... You're not in my face. Ok.

I doubt there would be much in the way of Ad Revenue... and that's fine. But as long as the benefits outweigh the pain in the rear costs. Then I'd be happy to do it.

Meaning: I'd love to help "Sponsor" the Carter's Commano teams in many ways. Put money into the team, club house, site, etc.

Basically any money made would go directly back into benefiting us. Which means we'd have an incentive to support our advertisers, and they would then in return want to come back, and round we go.

Ads would be very strictly done. Paintball specific would be ideal, but who knows. How much to charge is a completely an odd concept to me, and wouldn't know where to start.

But before the cart goes before the horse... I needed to check in with the users here.

Please please post.

If it's going to be more of a burden then an assistance to the site and members as a whole, then I just won't do it.

I'm for it, at the least as a test run. Why let ad dollars go to the other bozos who don't do as good a job?

I think that everybody here knows that whatever you do would be in good taste and in keeping with the culture of MCB. If it helps with the team, bunkhouse, website, etc. I think it's a good idea. Lord knows that you spend enough time keeping this thing together. If you can find a way to defray some of the financial costs, more power to you. You might also want to mention on your proposal the speed & high rank that posts here get on google.

I don't see how it can be bad if you retain control over content and style of ads.

Let's do it. If it sucks you can always dump it.

gotta say i'm, in complete agreement; you've put all this work into making MCB the sucess it is, time to reap the rewards (or at least make back what you've put into it

)

and none of that "any extra will be spend on CC/the site/contests/the bunkhouse" if there's any 'extra', go get yourself some beer/paint/Palmer's. you deserve it
