This INJUSTICE cannot STAND!

It has come to my immediate attention that there is an injustice afoot and I cannot stand idly by as it persists.

There is a fella name of "Crafty" who used to come around here before the switch over to the new lands here. He would stop by often enough that, over about four years, he accumulated about 1500 (measely) posts or so and...

he was very proud of that accomplishment. Enough so that he went all spanky cranky when all that hard work was dashed by the cross over to this crash-free zone and lobbied Carter until he agreed to artificially inflate his post count over here to reflect his former glory. (Rumor has it he threatened to slander Carter to the authorities in Michigan... one of the biggest state consumers of large mechanical sweepers that Carter makes by hand in a little cottage industry in his Dad's garage) Now "Crafty" who probably doesn't have 12 posts here at the new MCB is still sitting atop the coveted "Most Posts" pinnacle.

And now....

We have a fella name a Schmitti who has dedicated himself to this website SO TOTALLY that he has amassed a 1000 post count of which he is justifiably proud. He has commented on every silly-asssed utterance by even the most nood or maniacal posters among us. He is a model of decorum and strength and perserverance and he has served selflessly as a moderator behind the scenes sweeping up the horse manure that accumulates in the corners of this place.

AND THIS MAN MUST TAKE A BACK SEAT... A SECOND CHAIR>>> TO AN IMPOSTER!?!?!?!

THIS WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO STAND!!!

DOWN WITH CRAFTY!!!!

And up with Schmitti - the TRUE TOP POSTER OF MCB!

Dude, I had about 6000 at the end there... I am thrilled to be relieved of that burdensome and somewhat embarassing albatross.

I don't think I have cracked 300 and I routinely delete old ones to keep my mileage low.

I'd be Ok with Carter giving Schmitti credit for some of the posts he had on the old site, I just hope we don't get into an "I want credit for mine, too" situation with many people involved. But if we do, can I have "Galactic Overlord" as my title? It's so much tastier than "MCB member". I'm not really worried about my post count.

This is probably just a "mine is bigger than yours" thing. Post count, I mean. If so, let the chaps fall where they may. I think that a person's reputation on here has more to do with the quality of their posts and their personality in their comments. What I really mean is - size doesn't really count.

I tend to read threads with comments by people I find funny, knowledgable and interesting.

and the ones that piss me off, of course - but all in all this group of people are very significant to me. Peter
