Ok cool I got it figured out. I downloaded the chatzilla thingy. I couldn't log directly into the chat room but now it works.

problem exists between keyboard and chair.

Is this comp on the same network as the others that can connect?
You using mirc or the java based one?

UAC is a vista thing, wasn't sure what you were running.

Not on the same network.

I tried using mIRC, the web based and chatzilla, no go on all of those.

Dunno, its the work computer.

My Mac works fine with zero problems. Stupid PCs!

work is probably blocking it. you can try different ports.
