MCB Status Blog is now up and Running

Now if ever we're doing updates to the site, a site is down, you can find out what's going on at: status.mcarterbrown.com

MCB Status

I have it set up so you are redirected to Blogger (blogspot to be specific), which has the infrastructure to be up almost all the time. This way, if something happens to one of our servers, and you can't get access to one of the sites, you can find out what happened.

On that status site, you can also check and see if a particular server or site is down.

If you DO happen to have trouble getting to the new status site, please give it 24 hours or so, as I was just created and now the forwarding DNS is being propagated and might not be available everywhere yet.

Hopefully this will be a site most of you will forget about, as (knock on wood) our uptime has been... Oh forget it, I'm not going to jinx myself and say it.

Cool stuff! So now we won't go to a bunch of other places and all ask why MCB is down or call you or all message you on myspace or something.

Yeah.. I have guest commenting off right now, but if ever it is an issue, the commenting system will be turned on for communication purposes.
