MCB Server Server Backup Addition

Just letting folks know that I've recently purchased an extra service for this server for daily onsite data backup.

I've been doing it manually, and backing it up on my personal server at work which has daily backups.... But that only works if I personally backup the database and download it.

I've found myself being lazy about backing up, and that is the downfall of too many website administrators of sites such as this.

If you get complacent since you are not having any hackers attacking your site, or no data failures, you start to get lazy and forget to backup. That's me right now.

So if we DID have a massive failure... My last backup was: [checking now]
Eeek... 12/18/06

I will be backing it up now....

Done.

Anyhow...

With this onsite backup, our server will backup 40 gigs of data daily, so I'll never need to worry again. Not only our data, but our images, etc, which is needed for the galleries not to be lost in a majar data failure.
