| nelson fanboy | Kenimex Blackhawk pump-ebay score pics ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() quality stats its unibody, pretty solid, 1 inch outside diameter, bolt is similar to tigershark, but with smaller inside bore for smaller power tube, trigger is one piece unit without safety, seems capable of AT, back bottle, rear grip screw holds the asa, and front screw is to the body, has a 3/8 dovetail rail held by 2 screws, its a right feed marker, seems to be one of the cleanest direct feed necks, as theres no booger weld or anything...looks like its screwed from the inside, but cannot confirm without scratching, finish is really nice, plastic pump handle, similar to maverick;s knurled pump, the main trigger frame is also one piece, molded in plastic of some sort, its got a trapdoor in the bottom for some stuff, like tools. cupseal seems loctited into the power tube, will work on that later if it leaks, looks same as tigershark;s cupseal, but little bigger. valvespring is rusted, so swapped with a spyder compact valve springs, main spring is painted or coated green, looks like a maddmann spring, could be same as phantom spring. rear hammer is stainless steel, grooved and with a standard linkage arm for the bolt. first impression, this thing feels lighter than the tigershark, maybe thats just me, but it looks like they have aluminum body with steel parts and brass parts (main brass valve nut thing) orings seems to be in great condition, looks like marker;s been just sitting. disassembly is same as any other nelson pump, with the exception of the barrel being part of the body. plans are in the works to replace the plastic trigger frame with a machined aluminum frame, possibly one with shotgun type trigger placement, i dont know yet. ditto for the plastic pump handle as i found i could twist it and potentially break. performance stats using left over paintballs that fit the bore perfectly and a 3.5 oz tank with some co2 in it, it has no leaks. shot perfectly, didnt chrono it but will do so when its warmer outside, and amazingly for a marker with a pretty tight bore-paint match, unported and rather long barrel, it was QUIET. hopper holds exactly 100 balls. now i have somehting to use with my 100 rd pods lol the pump will be using this hopper most of the time, since i find its easier to have 100 rounds on gun and a couple pods on my person than to use 4x10 rd tubes on the ammo box hopper, for which i will be buying APP's 30 rd tactical pods eventually to use for the tiny hopper |

| I picked up a couple a few weeks ago, probably from the same guy. Did it come with camo coveralls?

| We used to use that exact same gun as rentals at a field I used to help run. You say one guy is selling off a few? I wonder.....Nope, not the same guy, he doesn't live in CA. But, there was about 20 of those things that I gave back to him when the field closed in 1994 that I never saw again. I liked them. I usually played with one when I played at the field and wasn't working. We never had many problems with them either. Basic Nelson internals. Have fun! | I'm gonna give you a tip here.. and maybe you can fix this. When taking pictures that close, use the macro mode on your camera. most times it is a button with a small flower icon, or it may be needed to be accessed through the menu. Makes it so the rest of us don't think we need to have lasik done

| nelson fanboy | UPDATE: sorry, pics craped out on old forum gallery page, so i am now uploading BETTER pics ![]() ![]() So right now, the Blackhawk body is in better shape than the Razorback, I have elected to build it into this mix of Blackhawk body with Razorback internals and Razorback pump arm and Razorback;s trigger frame system, as i like it better than the plastic units from the Blackhawk...what it gives me is a much more heftier feel, and solid feel, in this group shot of the 3 working pumps i have, it is undoubly the largest looking pump, even when compared to the 2 M4 spyders that are up for sale on another forum. ![]() and Azzy, the crappy digi camera i had, did not have macro at all.....so i ditched it for a nice SONY DSC-T10 Cybershot 7.2mp camera |
