first it's an easy drive thanks to close proximity to two interstate freeways, the 10 and the 215, as well as the california state route 60. once you get there the parking is just some dirt lot like most fields. just find a spot and get set up. registration is in a crude building, a step above a trailer, that has a roof as well as open windows (you will be grateful in the summer desert heat when you realize the windows let wind blow through as you wait in line). also, mandatory hottie receptionists as expected of any socal field. but this is mcb so most of you geezers are probably married. so be careful, you've been warned ![]() the COOLEST part of the office is a wall with vintage markers. at a glance i saw some NOVAS and NELSPOTS. it gives me a sense that the field isn't all just business, unlike some other field around the area... so for this.outside of the office is a shaded area with benches. if you want shades next to your car you need to bring your own, otherwise people are free to chill there. the prices seem to be the norm of the area, $10 air etc etc. there's a board next to the counter with all the prices spelled out. everything else about the procedures are run-of-the-mill. sign a waiver, pay whatever, get a wrist band and listen to the refs then go have fun. they have free entry big game day (again ) every once in a while and i went to the most recent one. you still need to pay for air and whatever rentals you need but entry is free and they combine all the fields for one big battle. i'm surprised the turnout isn't bigger. maybe it's just due to the heat.they also have numerous other specials. for example, pump day every 1st saturday of the month and ladies play free every 2nd saturday of a month. they also have holiday openings. the fields are pretty cool. there's some with concrete pipes as bunkers, some with lumber ones, a few with mixed ones as well as a cool one with covered trenches. i lost count of how many players i longballed just hiding in them trenches then watch them walk themselves off the field wondering where it all came from. ![]() ![]() ![]() a taco truck shows up for lunch with cheap food. my taco as $1.50. tiny but tasty. she's also got drinks and chips, i think also pizzas. an ice cream truck also comes by later in the day. i didn't buy anything but i think they got popsicles too. the owner's a pretty cool guy too. i remember him throwing spyder .50 cal into the conversation during the prize drawing at their opening and that made me feel awkward so i couldn't think of anything to say, but that's just a guy doing what a guy's gotta do. he's very relaxed and says hi to people, again unlike some other field around the area... there are 2 flushing bathrooms as well as some porta potties. they also do airsoft, but they have separate parking and i don't think i've seen a single game of them the whole day so they must be kept pretty far from us paintballers. all the better. but let's get back to the staff. they do holler at players regarding barrel plugs and masks. they do have a chrono station and check your gun. i saw a player getting his gun checked on field with a hand chrono too. the refs do their jobs. ![]() there ARE cheaters at the big game, but the refs also do their jobs there too. they listen to players and go check on things when alerted to those things. i never bothered to get their help, i just kept shooting wipers until they get the idea. however numerous teammates called the refs for help/violations and the refs do respond to them. before i left for the day, a female player was being swarmed by 5 guys when she called herself out but the guys didn't see. they kept shooting, then the referee hollered "let her come out." before enough time was given for players to respond, the female got into a fit and began shooting back after being eliminated. in my opinion she was way in the wrong and getting bonus balled is pretty much unavoidable when it's a big game with speedball guns allowed and 5 guys are after you, and thus in my opinion her reaction was doubly uncalled for. anyway the refs promptly kicked her off the field for shooting after being eliminated. good refs. fair refs. didn't let gender factor into their decision. her friends gathered near where i parked and they won't shut the **** up about it talking amongst themselves. but that's not the field's fault. (edit: don't get me wrong, they can complain all they want but it's free day dude don't get pissed about something you got for free being taken away from you for someone you did wrong)i like this field. it took me an hour an a half to get there from san diego and i would do it again. if you still have doubts, show up on a free entry day and see for yourself. Great place to play. Management is very cool and down to Earth! Have spent many hours talking with Leon, Wayne, Waynes wife[Can't remember her name for the life of me... ] and Lalo in my short amount of time in paintball.Tons of very cool regulars...lots of MCBers head down there... Great SpeedBall at the ASG side. Coolest atmosphere...they try to keep things D3 and under. Sweet turf! Great quality bunkers and netting. RecBall fields are cool...though I find myself more drawn to SpeedBall of late. ![]() Tons of fun to be had at the field! -curtis Of course...I must put a plug for Flo's Flowers and Paintball...they usually do private games there at the end of the month...the next game is August 29th.

Apparently Tombstone was bought out and is now 'Inland Empire Paintball Park.' Quote:
Also...Airsoft is definitely interesting. But as my dad says "There are complaints of cheating with a paintball." As such...Airsoft to me sounds like something to do with a group of cool friends and not walk-on. ![]() -curtis

But I'm interested in seeing how the new owners will work on the fields, Hopefully they'll care a lot more about the players and add some new interesting stuff, if the new owners are watching and wondering what people would vote for... I vote for a decent bathroom !and bring back the field "Crossfire"

I went there a few weeks ago, the sunday before the free day and had a great time. My only issue was while waiting to jump in for my first game one of the players asked a 12 yr old kid on the side lines for a paint check, the guy in the battle thought the lil kid was giving away his position and shot into the OUT players in rage and hit someone and then the guy started threating the the lil kid to kick his ***! This jerk was a full grow man about 30 and not a newbie.I was about to leave and wash my hands of the place and was talked out of it.. and boy was i glad..That was the only issue of the day and the rec ball field were as fun as they were diverce,I met a few MCBers and have a fantistic time!! Seemed like allot of the players waited for the refs to call them out instead of takein the hits, but i can deal with that since the ref did a great job...Since i know the refs dont get paid enough or at times not at all, i take up a collection and tip at the end of the day. The office was cool and Yes my boys were all over the lil hottie working at the fill station, The wall of vintage guns is cool ,a few airstar novas, cockers and the like.. The had a food truck and prices wernt over the top.. The thing i liked was that they had plenty of netting and i diddnt have to worrie about getting hit with balls from other fields...Games were started in a timely manner, not to long ,not short between games..For the most part everyone was friendly and i cant say enough about the verity of fields and players.. The sunday i went there were just enough players to make it interesting and not out of controle.. I will have a private game there in september ...I give the field 9 toes up!!
