I know this is an old thread, but I think what I have to add is relevent to the topic.

At SG45 a couple of weeks ago I ended up breaking a power switch off of an SP1 board.

While at SG45 I went over to the GOG Paintball booth to see if it could be repaired or not. I talked to Darryl Trent from GOG Paintball and he took the damaged board in on trade and asked me to send him an email the following Monday about getting a replacement board. I also asked him about getting some replacement buttons for the power switch since we lost a couple of them.

On top of that, a team mate had his eNVy feedneck break and went over and talked to GOG about getting that replaced as well.

We combined everything into one email to GOG to see about getting the parts replaced. I did not hear anything back from GOG.

Then a box showed up that had the parts in it. GOG replaced the SP1 board and sent me the power buttons at no charge. I was expecting and planning to get a price quote and pay for the parts since it was total user error for the damaged board and missing power buttons.

Anyway, just wanted to share a good experience that I had with GOG Paintball. Thank you again GOG Paintball!

Wish I would have known that. I had some SP1 stock boards on hand and the on/off buttons. I also had a metal feed neck ready to go. I thought you were just at the GOG booth showing Daryl your Dual SP1.

I've had nothing but great service from GOG, Dave Brewer and Daryl Trent

Haha, figures that someone would have the parts. I am going to be ordering a few more of the power buttons and a couple more solenoids since I broke the top off of one of mine. I should have asked about that too. I just need the top black part.

I was at the booth first to see if they had any of the power buttons since I lost a couple of them and we were using an Allen wrench to turn the guns on and off. I was afraid to break the button off the boards doing it that way.

Then I went back again for the board. I am not sure which time I saw you at the booth. It was a very busy weekend for me running the tank.

You have to order the full solenoid. I've tried to get the tops before. Actually I know where to buy these solenoids in the private sector, but they are propritery to SP/GOG. Trust me I tried to buy the covers only.

As far as covers, if we can ever find a machinest willing to take on the task of an aluminum cap, I'll pay. I know a guy in Brazil made one and it worked perfect. I'm positive this was be a good market for GOG gun owners.

Normally I'll buy up Old Green boards and send them in for a reflash. I even have broken boards repaired if there is not a lot of damage or a broken trace that can't be repaired. I found a blue GOG board on Ebay brand new for $20 shipped. Just have to look around for the bargins

I didn't think I could get just the cap. Oh well, I will buy a couple more solenoids and keep this one for the other parts on it.

If I had another full cap to use as a model I could take it to a machine shop here and get a quote. If I find the busted piece I can use this one.

I didn't think about grabbing older boards and having them reflashed, that's a good idea. I may do that too.
