As configured, it probobly could not get any shorter. But if the Q/D was placed on the bobtail, instead of the ASA, the hose would not need as much room to clear the grip frame, allowing a shorter hose to be used? Looks nice regardless | |

Yea.. I geuss that is as short as they could have made it. hmm... a 45*-90* QD would be handy here...

MMmmm new screws and pump return springs for all. The braided line could be a bit shorter, maybe not too much shorter, but a bit. The lapco set screws on the side make that air setup kind of inconvenient.

Wow. They really did a one-up on the pre-production models. I love that detente idea, and it'll be great to see what accessories will be coming out for it.

That's beautiful! I really like the way it came out and thanks for the great review Carter! They make the female side of the quick disconnects into a 90 degree version, if you put that on the steel hose and mounted the other half pointing straight up instead of angled to the back, the hose would pivot down onto the fitting and you could use shorter hose which would also run straight along the gun for a neater look, that would be better I think. I may just find out by trying it on one of my own! Hmmm... Rob

He said internal parts... heh... But yes, everything looks as if it is a direct replacement. I haven't actually tried to, but from what I see here, I don't see it being an issue.
