| The Brown Guy! | To sum it up in one word, CRAP. When I first tried this product out, it worked like a dream, I loved the on/off slide check. Great concept. Problem is, PMI didn't follow though on this concept, instead, they delivered poor craftsmanship and a faulty product. The second time I aired up with this, it leaked out of the slide check; at the time, I didn't have the time to fix it, so I just removed the slide check. Later, the seals in the quick disconnect broke. I was not pleased. I got around to fixing all the seals, and then it worked, problem solved, right? WRONG. The dang thing only worked once, then after that leaked bad again. The store owner that I purchased this from said that a couple other people bought the same product and had the same problem as I did, himself included. I will be returning this. Conclusion, if it worked properly, it would be fantastic, but it doesn't. I wasted $40 on this pile of poor workmanship. Last edited by Frontier_Bill; 07-18-2006 at 02:37 PM. |

| Bill I completely agree! I wrote a letter to PMI explaining my situation and the complaints I have about the product. The reply I recieved was basically a blow off. Needless to say I will never buy a PMI product again. I ended up taking the slide off of my remote and it works fine. Yes it's a bit more of a pain, but I could buy a new slide from Palmers.

| The Brown Guy! | Well, i see that mine and local experiences are not unusual. This product probably would not suffer from the leak in the slide if the holes in it didnt have burrs on them, those burs are what rip the o-rings, I just haven't got around to de-burring this yet. ALSO! I forgot to mention the hell we've had with the tank knob. This thing tends to not turn the shaft, it will just spin on the brass screw thing that goes down and depresses the tank pin, this part, has show us MUCH more of a problem than the slide. At least the slide can be removed. Oh, and on a non-product-specific topic, when i aired the remote up (not connected to a maker) one time, it flung around and nailed me in nards... man, that was humiliating, the whole staging area bust out laughing... |

| Every Dog has its Day | Same thing happened to me. My slide check started leaking so I just removed it. I have yet to hear a leak from teh QD but It sounds like I should be expecting one. |

| Devious Penguin Mod | I find that I have to disassemble and oil it after every game to keep the orings from drying out, that's why they tend to leak. My 32degrees one works better but I still have to disassemble it periodically.
