Contour Helmet Cam

Well I just ordered this cool little guy
Punisher Integrated Barrel Rail
along with the picatinny mount from Contour and plan on running this little setup on my Phantom as soon as my new toys arrive. I shall let everyone salivate over the endless possibilties
*EDIT* This is a side review on the Contour Picatinny Rail mount. Overall it is a nice mount for the Contour cameras, BUT there is one major downfall. It has noticeable wobble if the camera is not mounted against the thumbscrew. If it is not mounted like this, it will not fall off the mount it just induces unwarranted camera shake.
Overall a 4/5 product would be a 5 if the mount locked securely on both sides regardless of thumb screw placement.

i just got a contour cam as well, but i mounted it on my dye i4s. i figure it will give me more usable footage compared to barrel mounting it.

Oh I plan on doing a helmet mounted version as well, I just want to be able to do both barrel and helmet videos. I'm nit sure if I wan to pick up a cheap Proto mask to mount the cam or if just want to use the 3M mount and mount to the circular Proto logo tab and use the flat surface mount...so many choices

I run mine on the right side of my mask - I used the adhesive mount and attached it to the lens removal clip on my Grill.

Quick Update, my RAP4 Punisher Barrel Adapter arrived today and boy is it impressive!! Here are pics with it mounted to my Phantom

Now I am just waiting for the Picatinny mount from Contour.
The one thing I noticed immediately with the rail mounted to the barrel is the amount of weight it adds, with my 13/3K attached and a full hopper I believe it will be all evened out. It will be at least 2 weeks before the setup sees the field, waiting for my fields to dry out and HB is next weekend!!
