I've still got the cs disks laying around somewhere.

Definitely a great mod. I really can't imagine using a different mech now.

If I had an Ion I'd grab one.

Nice information again nerdcore, thanks.

Something I've thought about trying for a quick and dirty efficiency boost - find some 1" OD plastic tubing (vinyl, nylon, polyurethane - something soft) and cram it into the firing can. Trim the length carefully so it butts up and is held nicely by the bolt stop. Same effect as the spacers in an Epiphany. Should give you a small boost in efficiency.

Sits in front of or behind the bolt stop? I've got some tubing sitting around from doing a similar mod with an old matrix (tophat mod), might fit. Thanks!

Behind the bolt stop, inside the large open area of the firing can.

You'll have to play with thicknesses so you don't go so high a pressure the SMAV doesn't work properly, but there should be a bit of play room there.

2 questions DW. Would this drop in kit exclude me from using a DTI4 body from deadlywind and (as funny as this sounds) I was thinking about running no reg, because I like the tank placement my Intruder gives me (Pro-Team Products Intruder Expansion System | Paintball Review | pbreview.com) but would I need a LP tank?

Dti4 shouldnt be a problem, but without an adjustable reg you have no way of controlling velocity other than messing with dump chamber volume. As long as the input is under 200psi, it should be workable.
