48-45

I just got a new CP 48- 4500 tank. Let me tell you, this thing is tight! I like the overall size of it. It also has a nice reg on. It's like if you cut approx. a third off a 68. I'm not real big on the 13-4500 tanks. Not enough air for long games. Unless you want to pack a couple of them. I can post pics for those of you who may want to see it. The only draw back is, I was told they retail for something like $275. That hurts.....

Definitely post some pics and/or dimensions and a more thorough impression of the performance after you've had a chance to try it out.

Is the 48/4500 substantially larger (externally) than a 45/4500?

Also, where are you seeing 13ci/4500 tanks, or was that a typo? All of them that I have ever seen are rated as 13/3000.

My bad. I did mean 13/3000. I will take total dimentions and some pics tonight. I will be playing Thursday night, so I will be able to tell you how the efficiency is. I've heard that it is approximately 1000 per tank on a Mark 7. We shall see!

Alright I took a couple of measurements. The tank is 4" diameter x 7" long. I didn't have my camera at home so I tried to take a pic with my phone.

i've got this tank too!! i've got it on my mini and it is the tightest thing ever. it shoulders in the exact spot that i would hold a gun without a tank. it's like having a small honeydew melon as a tank.

it is actually shorter then a 45/4500 but a bit fatter (the same diameter as a 68/4500). the thing that sets it apart, besides the size, is the reg. best tank reg period. i get more shots out of this then my 68/4500. dxs sells the same size tank but the reg isn't as good. a guy on my team has his on an ego, which are excellent on air as they are, but he gets 1000 shots minimum out of it. i can get about 800 minimum.

$275 is nuts, i got mine for $215. worth every penny. the only bad thing would be finding a cover. you need to get a 45/4500 cover that will stretch over it.
