Not to Hijack this thread but the APG and some things that Stich said became so nostalgic to me.

Jason typically worked the storefront (Combat Simulations) Brent and Kelvin mostly showed for practice and game day but I didnt see them too much otherwise. Mario was arguably the youngest member active. Few more of the guys from HPD also but names are eluding my poor noggin at the moment.

some of the big teams back then

Combat Crew, Team Ronin, The Blitztoons, Tropical Lightning, Kahekili.

Main fields back then - Kualoa Ranch, TAG Waimanalo, few scattered private/renegade fields the Turtle Bay field had just opened up a little bit before I moved.

I still remember the pain of $150 for a case of paint (grant it was 2500 balls instead of 2000 back then) and how much it cost to feed an autococker back in the day =P

good times for sure....

/salute
Stich I remember those names really well! My first new marker came from Combat Simulations and I hated the drive to Kaneohe to get paint but they were the only ones open back in the day. I used to order paint through APG and get it shipped by UPS.
I also played Kualoa Ranch often when Colin was running it and hated most sliding into a bunker with cow dung.... I was good friends with the guys from Tropical Lightning and Ron of Paintball Central was the one that got me into stock class and sold me my first Phantom. I even bought an old Box gun from him not knowing it was a carter... They coached me and my friends and let me play at the Turtle Bay field all the time.

Anyway back to topic. I must say that although I find the fact that Lechooch has played with more high end markers than most people in such a short time at his wonderful young age, I think its great that he provides a well thought out listing of his experiences with each of them. His other posts had gotten me interested in getting another box gun but my purchase was vetoed by another in my family. I hope he can test more markers for all of us and give us some ideas about what we might be interested in getting saving us the trouble and cost of finding out the hard way. LOL Thanks lechooch!

In the world I see - you are stalking elk through the damp canyon forests around the ruins of Rockefeller Center. You'll wear leather clothes that will last you the rest of your life. You'll climb the wrist-thick kudzu vines that wrap the Sears Tower. And when you look down, you'll see tiny figures pounding corn, laying strips of venison on the empty car pool lane of some abandoned superhighway.
