Virtue Glint Review *Picture Heavy*

The other week I was looking for a replacement lens for my VForce Shield, went down to the local shop and they gave me an old lens, that was quite honestly beat up but had no cracks or major flaws in it for free (someone left it behind, some time ago). I figured this would be a great chance to try the Virtue Glint on it. The cleaner worked better than what I expected. It is pricey but it does bring old, grungy lenses back to life. Now some pics

It retails for $14.99 for a 250ml bottle (your price may vary) But it lasts!
It actually smells nice and does not have a nasty Windex/chemical smell to it.
I have not used this on my thermal lens...yet. When I do I will update, for those curious, Virtue recommends only applying it to the outside of thermal lenses.
*For best results use a microfiber cloth to clean the lens, cotton cloths WILL scratch your lens(es)*

Wow. So basically it almost works like those headlight restoration kits?

I have an old loaner mask that has a permanent haze to it, so it's basically useless. Think Glint would work there too? Goo gone and Windex do nothing to get it clean.

It just seems like a ton of cash when Windex does the job 99 percent of the time.

To be quite honest, using Goo Gone and Windex or any other GLASS cleaner is bad for lenses. They will eat the plastic thus making them structurally weaker. What Glint does is fill in hairline/micro cracks/fissures in the plastic while cleaning and applying a anti fog coating to the lens. I would suggest you toss the old lens out and replace with a new one. With hazing, Glint may help to remove cant say for sure but it couldn't hurt. Yea, the price is steep but you get a lot of it and it should easily last you an entire season.

I was wondering what plexus was... a guy came into the paintball shop the other day and asked if we had plexus for motorcycle helmet lenses.
