I tried these on in my local proshop. I couldn't get past that black line. It was really distracting. My eyes didn't want to focus on anything else.

Before buying I'd have to try them during some play time. I'm sure you'd get used to them.

I was quite worried about this as well. I went out and played on Sunday and had 0 issues with it. Even when i'm off the field i don't focus on it anymore.

I can't imagine it would be much worse than the E-vents, I guess I'll see whenever the local shop get them in, supposed to be sometime this week

I tried my E-flex this weekend for the first time and my conclusion is it fits awkward on my face. It just feels bulky and i found myself constantly adjusting it on the field. I think i'm gonna ditch this mask into the BST, and go back to my Flex that has that fit and feel that can't be reproduced.

So is the lens exactly the same as that of the Avatar/E-Vents line, or is it slightly different?

Looking for a new mask? See how they compare.

Apparently it is exactly the same.

Today I realized I cant stand the black line, when trying to sight down my marker the black line obstructs my vision. There is no way I can play with this mask, so I am putting it for sale already. The I4s are still my faveourite mask, only thing I dislike about them is the foam that comes off easily.. ah well.

That's odd that it's a problem, but I guess the avatars/e-vents have wider noses than the e-flexes, so you don't actually notice the foam in those.

I bought a pair and noticed the line people are talking about. So I put them on and played some computer games to see if it would get in the way. In about two seconds I forgot the line was even there... Non issue as far as I am concerned.
