Whoa now.... If everything I've seen about mechanical spools rings true, the firebolt will NOT work, it doesn't have 2 tail o-rings. It will fire, but you'll have virtually no control over the velocity since the bolt won't be able to shut off the air flowing through the dump chamber.

The ball is gone so fast that it won't matter if you hold it down or tap the trigger. It had no bearing on my pneuFASOR, but with this, you'd lose a lot more air.

Since they have not, until now, put a dual o-ringed bolt in any of their other base guns, I would say that there's probably a good reason for it being there in the eNMEy. At the least, it won't be an "upgrade" at that point. Maybe now they'll start making FB's with two tail o-rings though....

Since the bolt stays forward when you hold the trigger, it would continue venting. It might not affect velocity, but lacking a second tail o-ring would negatively impact efficiency.

I just picked up an Apache loader off a member here, so my days of dryfiring and outshooting my ball stack should be over. I won't get to play again for a couple more weeks, but I'll let everyone know how it does with an electronic loader as soon as possible.
(Though, other guys SHOULD start getting their's between now and then, so I'm sure someone else will already have reported on that.)

I used Will's tester with a Rotor and never had a single chop, dryfire, or jam even while trying to shoot as fast as humanly possible.
