It's about 40 degrees outside so I'll try to come up with a way to test 12 gram shot count inside heheh.

Ive been playing with one that I ordered in the preorders and let my wife use it. She loves it so much, I had to buy another. Fo her, its light, short and simple to aim. Its just a simple fun gun to play with. The cycling is like no other gun and very gratifying!

I just got my silver one in right now and I like what I'm seeing so far. One bummer is that my Lapco Cocker to ION adapter won't thread in. The stock barrel threads in, albeit with some resistance at the end. There seems to be some variance in the threads somewhere and my gut feeling is that the threading in the body isn't deep enough for the threads on the Lapco adapter. In the pic you can see the silvering on the first row of threads where it immediately bottoms out and is galled by the breech threading. ![]() Any DIY ideas on how to fix this? Think that sanding some material off my Lapco adapter would help? Update:: Since I bought the adapter from Lapco directly I just decided to give them a call and see what they suggested. Real cool dudes. They're asking me to send in my gun + stock barrel and they're going to make/mod me an adapter that fits my gun for no charge. Should be quick because they're local to me. Yay Lapco! I have a few different UL barrels in ion thread. When I screw in one in threads and then stops abruptly and never snugs up. The other one screws in and then you can snug it quite tight. I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue. I've since purchase a SP ion freak back off of here so once it arrives I'm hoping that will work perfectly.

Without me reading the whole thread again how was everyone removing the hose from the reg? Heat? I only have a plastic vice with metal lips and I had that thing as tight as I could get it and the fitting is spinning in the vice! I have never had anything too tight to get off using that vice! lol I have not messed up the anno yet and prefer to keep it that way! |
