here you go, should weigh 13.6 grams (my scale does not show part of a gram and rounds up).

If the tail o-rings control dwell (is that right?), the smaller distance could explain your lower velocities.

GOG is going to test the QEV to see if it has any advantages for the enmey

You're absolutely right. I can't see the pics right now since most filesharing sights are blocked here at work but I'll give them a look when I get home.

That's definitely a completely different bolt than I have, and I'm guessing it's the older version. You can tell they took your version and just milled another groove in front of the existing o-ring groove. The o-ring spacing is definitely the issue, as the front o-ring is the one that shuts off the dump chamber.

Mine does fit more loosely in the donut as well, but not enough to leak.

My Redz Ion Bolt works GREAT guys. It looks almost the same as that TechT bolt and only cost 11$ new off ebay. Look them up.

I was very pleased with the excellent polish and finish on the Redz bolt, its lighter and much smoother. Its a no brainer at $11.00!

.....There is alot of room in the Enmey frame....I wonder if adding a LPR would have any benifit....

I was almost ready to write that off as silly until I saw it was Ydna posting it... Never posted any results though, so I'm wondering if it got canned? I've never seen anyone else use an LPR on an Ion unless it was an attempt to put a ram on a mech for pneu-mag-esque trigger pull.

Looking at more how the Ion works....I would really like to see if I can get a better "anti-chop" bolt speed. I would love to get the Enmey bolt to act like a automag Lvl 10 bolt. It just does not do that currently. Yes its soft, but no its not as soft as some of my other markers that do not advertise as having any mech anti chop abilities.

I think a barb with an adjustable FST screw like on the luxe would slow the forward stroke down even more. It would be simple to make...it would go on the forward most hose attachment in the gun...Almost like a reverse QEV.

The nice thing about doing this is effects on the rate of fire really dont matter with the enemy as anything over about 12bps is not going to happen with the mech trigger anyway. I believe that you could ride the rearward bolt bias much more than it is currently given that ROF is not really a factor/concern. The result would be a much much softer shot and better anti chop abilities and I am willing to bet a quieter shot as it would be slower to allow the chamber to open and dump.

Just some thoughts...The Enmey as endless tinker possibilities...

What are people using to lube their eNMEy? I used Hater Marmalade the one time I have taken it apart, but I am wondering if it is too thick for the bolt.
