Is it worth it to me to risk my good old bad luck making the gun stop working after that? Not in my opinion.
This. only thing I changed on mine was the barrel. Grabbed a .683 pipe barrel and I'm good.

I used my eNMEY with a Vlo Jr on Sunday, this thing can RIP.

However, at least once a day I end up short stroking it and breaking a ball. This gun does not like shooting through breaks. Accuracy goes out the window until I get a chance to take out the bolt and clean it off. I really think I need to do the set screw mod.

With the sets crew mod, you will never short stroke again.
I have shot thousands of rounds through mine, without a single break.

I can't see your second pic HTH but I know that TechT detents fit the GOG cans just fine. Watch out for NDZ Ion detents, as I had a set that didn't fit the detent bore at all (too big). Also, Kila detents used to be awesome, but now they are coming as a half-octagon shape instead of a half circle, and seem to snag the bolt tip and then hang sideways in the bore. I've been happy with my TechT's in my G1 so far, no issues, but I only got them after the Kila's were a massive fail. Orange products seem to normally be well made but I have no firsthand experience with those detents so I can't comment on them.

Check-it makes some that are orange colored like that. I put them in mine and the work great but I've only put about a bag through my eNMEy.

I've got Orange brand detents in one of my electro ions. They're quite nice - never bind, never snag, never fail. Comes with orange dot stickers to keep them in place when disassembled. Of course, now they do nothing since my electro ion currently has no frame, and the board is boxed up.

Haven't tried them in the Enmey since i really won't get in there until the stock nubs die. THEN i'll probably swap the Orange ones over.

Agree with Pistolrouge, used to be the best detents, last ones I got were uneven and blocky,Im using Techt ones now also
Always had bolt stick and bore breaks with stock Ion detents.A small mod that shoudnt be overlooked on any gun
