That's my rationale for not doing it; don't want to risk voiding the warranty just to "fix" something that ain't broke.
Of course, based on my past experiences with their customer service back when they were SP, and now currently havng dealt with them as GoG, it wouldn't surprise me if they'd still cover it. I just don't want to take the risk.

Maybe I'll send 'em a link to the thread about it and just ask if it's a warranty voider or not.

I just shimmed the trigger up to the safety stop using a piece of plastic that I cut to fit snug inside a small pocket inside the frame. It took me about five minutes and can be done with scissors and an old credit card. No drilling required, and no voided warranty!

I hate to sound daft - but would you mind posting a picture of what you did? I haven't yet opened up my eNMEy so I don't know what it all looks like, but I have an old card waiting to be cut up and put to better use

Sounds similar to the old Rainmaker trigger jobs.

The ScottQ CD jewel case Trigger job

A piece of CD jewel case acts as a spacer for the stock trigger. This Mod gets rid of most if not all(if wanted) all excess movement in the trigger. Not sure if this works on the 99 s/f boards switches. Someone try it and let me know

Step one. Take apart the gripframe. take off the trigger and clean the backside of the trigger, that touches the pushbutton.

Step two. Find an old CD jewel case you dont need anymore. cut a 1/8inch by 1/8inch square piece from it.

Step Three. Make sure the piece you just cut off the CD case fits behind the trigger and doesnt hang off the trigger, if it does cut all excess plastic off until it is alittle smaller then the back of the trigger. Take some Electric Tape and tape it to where you would superglue it to make sure the button still activates with the spacer.

Step four. Superglue the CD jewel case to the back of the trigger. *Note* MAKE SURE you put it on the right spot of the trigger, where the trigger meets the button.*

Step 5. Let Superglue dry, and test. if the trigger is so short it doesnt activate, or too short for your liking, take some sand paper and sand down the excess plastic.

My trigger mod involved me gluing a piece of eraser to the top part of the trigger that makes contact.

I would tape off the rubber and ain't it. Get some Spraymax 2k for a couple of coats of clearcoat. Done.

I did that with my green Enmey. Been playing with it almost every weekend since April, and it still looks almost new.

In case you hadn't seen it:

You could do it in 2 colors. Pink pay, white powertube.

I think it should work. You may have to do a little sanding to the body with really fine sand paper or rub it with steel wool to get it to take better if it doesn't initially work that well.

If I had a lighter color body I would test it for you but my left over body pieces from my project are black so none of my Rit colors would show up. If it doesn't work you would only be out like $4.
