Propper TAC.U combat shirt for TiPX shooters

I got one of these shirts in black over the winter and I'm quite happy with it!

It occurred to me because our jerseys for the Hell Survivors Mercenaries are sleeveless. I've now chopped the sleeves off my Great Lakes Rangers jersey as well. I wear the jerseys over this combat shirt.

The shoulder pockets are sized for M4 mags and confortably hold 2 TiPX mags apiece, I took the huge velcro patches off the shoulder pockets.

The forearm pockets are divided into 2 layered pockets, the outer one on the right has a velcro pulltab that closes the whole top. The outer one on the left has the top divided as a pen holder type thing.
By pulling out the seam that divides the forearm pockets inside, I was able to make each double pocket into 1 larger pocket. I also removed the stitching dividing 2 of the pen slots.
So now the forearm pockets will take 2 mags on the right as a temporary dump and the left makes a perfect 12gram dump pouch.

I've already experienced what a HUGE advantage this shirt is when lying full prone.
When laying on your stomach in a low bunker, you suddenly have 4 mags easily available, dump for 12grams or mags as well, that let you hop up, run off and never look back.

In addition to removing the internal seams I had to change the velcro on the wrist straps to the other side(they made the wriststrap go over the TOP, which crunches up the forearm pockets, when going UNDERNEATH the wrist holds the pockets open for you instead). You can fold over the velcro on the wrist strap and run it under also.

It has a little cuff with a thumbhole, this really makes accessing the pockets on that sleeve a snap, now that I fixed the wrist straps so I can tighten them and still use the pockets I don't need the cuff any more though!

The sizing is true and the quality is what I'd expect from Propper.

Definitely awesome and a permanent piece of my gear now. The pockets work awesome and the shirt is great in thick brush as well.

I'm getting one in green for my GLR clothes. The shoulder pockets are long enough for zetamags it looks like, they hold 4 10rd tubes each comfortably. The forearm pockets would be tight lengthwise tho, IMO.
The vents at the tops of the shoulders REALLY make a nice difference in staying cool.
Each shoulder pocket has 2 tipx mags inside in that pic.

Amazon. No sales anywhere that I saw on them.

The zipper on the neck is fine since there's only a sleeveless T over it, but I can see how some folks might not like it with certain plate carriers.

If they ditched the zipper collar for a vshaped section of the torso material with a mock-t neck and put the velcro for the wrist straps on the correct side of the strap I would call it The Ultimate Shirt Ever Made.

The size is still good after a bunch of washings in cold and drying on permpress.
I would not recommend a tall unless you are tall AND have short legs. Sleeves too long would make the sleeve pockets tough to get into.

I think we're both 6'2" so I'll go with your size recommendations. Off to take a look and see what I can snap up.
