Wooden engraved grips by MCBs member pbalien73
Below is the first set I bought a few years back for my Automag. These are zebra wood. I am very happy with them as they look great and have lasted this long. He puts a good outdoor urethane coating on them that brings out the grains in the wood and protects them.
Now about a month ago I wanted something custom for me and my teammates. I contacted pbalien73 and described what I wanted.
He helped me select black and white clip art images that would look good and work well in the engraving machine. This took several PMs through MCB and he was quick with responses and very helpful with selecting images.
Price; I was surprised they were a bit higher than other engraved grips I have seen him sell here. That being said, he did help me out with selecting images, replying to PMs, then making the grips, engraving them, coating them, shipping... all in all I am beyond happy with the final results.
Once I made my final image selection, he used photoshop to impose them on the grips to show me what they would look like. (very cool) From there it was about a week till they were made and showed up in the mail. they were packed well and individually wrapped.
I selected cherry wood for the following three grips. Yes, now onto the wood...
